Vasteras Film Festival is an international film festival held in autumn every year since 2015 and based in Sweden. Shows films in different genres from around the world and is one of the most interesting festivals in northern Europe. 

The Nika Award is the main annual national film award in Russia presented by the Russian Academy of Cinema Arts and Science. It was established in 1987 in Moscow by Yuli Gusman, and ostensibly modelled on the Oscars. The Russian Academy Award takes its name from Nike, the goddess of victory. 

Russian Film week includes world premieres and screenings of contemporary Russian films in cinema theatres of London bringing the best of Russian culture. Founded in 2016.

International human rights film festival from 1995 year.  The purpose of the festival is the formation of the legal consciousness of society by means of cinema.

Festival screenings are held in the Large, White and Small Halls of the Cinema House of Russia. Creative meetings and discussions are in the Conference Hall.

Prize-winning films participate in charity events of the Stalker International Film Festival in the regions of Russia and abroad.

Festival of independent films in Osnabrück (German). Founded in 1986. Offers a cross-section of independent short and long films from all over the world. Due to the scarcity of premieres here, not many industry visitors are present. The festival promotes the exchange between filmmakers and their audiences.

GIFF was successfully inaugurated in Gangneung, which is located on the eastern coast of Korea. A resort city, Gangneung is well known for its beautiful nature and cultural heritage, and serves as a home to Korean traditional arts and literature. Today, Gangneung’s natural beauty and cultural legacy still continue to inspire many contemporary filmmakers and writers. Festival was founded in 2018.

The biggest festival in the Baltic and one of the largest in Eastern Europe. Unique event combining a feature film festival with the sub-festivals of animated films, student films and children/youth films. The festival aims to present Estonian audiences a comprehensive selection of world cinema in all its diversity with the emphasis on European films, providing a friendly atmosphere for interaction between the audience, Estonian filmmakers and their colleagues from abroad. Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival consists of the main programme, three sub-festivals, as well as film and co-production markets. 

Dedicated to extremely independent films made with very little or no budget and without strong support. The FMCINEV has gathered films from the 5 continents, never been screened in the American Continent. Founded in 2011 in Veracruz State, Mexico.

From the 2007 year is the world's largest screening of Russian films. The festival takes place annually in late autumn in Warsaw. Over the next few months, selected films are repeated in 50 cities in Poland. The aim of the festival is to popularize Russian culture in Poland and to strengthen cultural ties between the two countries. 

Over the past decades the popularity and influence of the Moscow International Film Festival on the world filmmaking process have grown significantly. During this years prizes were awarded to outstanding masters of world cinema – Akira Kurosawa and Stanley Kramer, Federico Fellini and Ettore Scola, Andrzej Wajda and Francesco Rosi, Krzysztof Zanussi and Damiano Damiani, Gleb Panfilov and Sergei Gerasimov, Bernard Blier and Alexandr Rogozhkin. MIFF has a lot to pride itself on. Founded in 1935.
