Sakhalin International Film Festival "ON THE EDGE""ON THE EDGE" founded in 2013.
The goal of the Film Festival is to achieve, through means of cinema, the lofty aims of humanist values, peace and friendship among the peoples; to create in the Sakhalin region favorable environment for the cross-fertilization of cultures; to create the conditions for the Sakhalin region residents’ self-expression in various areas of cultural and social activity.
