AFI FEST is the longest-running international film festival in Los Angeles from 1987. Each fall, AFI FEST presents the year's most significant films. Featuring international work from emerging filmmakers, global showcases of films from the great masters and red-carpet gala premieres.

Established in 2007, the Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) are proudly brought to you by the City of Brisbane, Australia’s New World City. APSA is the region’s highest accolade in film where cinematic excellence shines. With films from 70 countries and areas in the region, APSA honours filmmaking that best reflects its cultural origins and the diversity of the Asia Pacific.

Berlin International Film Festival. The festival was created for the Berlin public in 1951, at the beginning of the Cold War, as a “showcase of the free world”. Shaped by the turbulent post-war period and the unique situation of a divided city, the Berlinale has developed into a place of intercultural exchange and a platform for the critical cinematic exploration of social issues. To this day it is considered the most political of all the major film festivals.

The Nika Award is the main annual national film award in Russia presented by the Russian Academy of Cinema Arts and Science. It was established in 1987 in Moscow by Yuli Gusman, and ostensibly modelled on the Oscars. The Russian Academy Award takes its name from Nike, the goddess of victory. 

Sakhalin International Film Festival "ON THE EDGE""ON THE EDGE" founded in 2013.

Sochi Open Russian Film Festival is the largest national film festival. Every year in June, on the Black sea coast in Sochi, the top talents of Russian cinema come together: directors, producers, actors, script writers, directors of photography. Founded in 1991.

International Film Festival in Edinburgh (UK). Founded in 1947. Excellent festival to make contacts within the field of British independent film. Alongside London, the most important film festival in Great Britain. Large number of categories and many different awards.

The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival is considered the most important film event in Central and Eastern Europe. Founded in 1949.

The basic concept of the Karlovy Vary IFF comes out of the Czech Republic’s advantageous geopolitical location at the crossroads between Eastern and Western Europe.

It introduces film industry representatives and press from all around the world to the newest local production, and presents new quality films from the rest of the world to Central and Eastern Europe’s own industry and press.

The first annual Yakutsk International Film Festival was held in August 2013, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Russian Cinematographers' Union.

The Warsaw Film Festival (WFF) is organised by the Warsaw Film Foundation in Warsaw, Poland. Its aim is to present the best films from all over the world to Polish and international audience, and to encourage better communication and understanding between people living in different countries and of different cultural backgrounds.

St.Petersburg International Festival of Debut and Student Films. Founded in 2002. 

The Golden Globe Awards are accolades bestowed by the 93 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association beginning in January 1944, recognizing excellence in film, both American and International, and the American television.

International human rights film festival from 1995 year.  The purpose of the festival is the formation of the legal consciousness of society by means of cinema.

Festival screenings are held in the Large, White and Small Halls of the Cinema House of Russia. Creative meetings and discussions are in the Conference Hall.

Prize-winning films participate in charity events of the Stalker International Film Festival in the regions of Russia and abroad.

The biggest festival in the Baltic and one of the largest in Eastern Europe. Unique event combining a feature film festival with the sub-festivals of animated films, student films and children/youth films. The festival aims to present Estonian audiences a comprehensive selection of world cinema in all its diversity with the emphasis on European films, providing a friendly atmosphere for interaction between the audience, Estonian filmmakers and their colleagues from abroad. Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival consists of the main programme, three sub-festivals, as well as film and co-production markets.
