The Short Film Corner is a Forum dedicated to short films. Neither a selection, nor a competition, the Short Film Corner - as a market area - is designed to boost networking between professionals.

Over the past decades the popularity and influence of the Moscow International Film Festival on the world filmmaking process have grown significantly. During this years prizes were awarded to outstanding masters of world cinema – Akira Kurosawa and Stanley Kramer, Federico Fellini and Ettore Scola, Andrzej Wajda and Francesco Rosi, Krzysztof Zanussi and Damiano Damiani, Gleb Panfilov and Sergei Gerasimov, Bernard Blier and Alexandr Rogozhkin. MIFF has a lot to pride itself on. Founded in 1935.

International Film Festival named after Andrey Tarkovsky founded in 2007. The Festival organizing committee is headed by Mikhail Men, the Ivanovo Oblast Governor. Marina Tarkovsky, the director’s sister, is one of the inspirers and organizers of the movie forum.
